OUR MISSION

Motherhood Later…..Than Sooner is the only on and offline resource/community in the US providing 35+ moms with young children a place to connect with other moms who share similar life experiences. Our goal is to serve as a support network, place of information and social outlet for moms and families parenting later in life. Moms-to-be are invited to join as well. Chapters are in formation nationwide, and we are growing steadily.

OUR MARKET

According to a recent broadcast on National Public Radio’s “Talk of the Nation,” that featured Motherhood Later: More women are having kids into their 40s, 50s and even 60s due to improvements in reproductive technology. The fastest-growing age group for new mothers is 40 to 44, and they yield considerable purchasing power.

Based on a survey done by Motherhood Later, 42% of women had their first child between 36 and 39, however more than 1/4th of them waiting until they were 40 years old or older.

A third of the women surveyed are stay-at-home moms and another third are working full time out of the home.
About 15% are working part time out of the home and 12% are working at home in a home office.
Over half of the women surveyed have a combined income of $100,000, while 36% have a household between $50,000 to $99,999.
The top 2 things these women are seeking in terms of support as mothers are local fact to face outings with moms their age and websites with useful content.
